Consulting Engineering's project experience includes: passenger &
ferry terminals; piers; wharves; bulkheads; floating docks; shore
protection and seawalls; constructed out of timber, stone, steel or
concrete. We have the experience with the coastal processes, and understands
its destructive potential, including: wind and wave forces; ice forces;
deterioration from marine borer attack; rot; corrosion and chemical
attack; vessel berthing forces and coastal storms. Knowledge of these
issues allows us to develop the methods to resist these forces that
provide long-term solutions and prevent premature maintenance or reconstruction. |

We have the experience, understanding and ability to expedite the
environmental regulatory process and necessary to obtain all required
approvals. We have a complete understanding of the numerous requirements
set forth by the Army Corps of Engineers Section 10 and 404 programs,
Coastal Zone Management, DEP-Water Quality Certification as well as
the state and local environmental requirements. We have extensive
experience in all New England states. Most importantly, we understand
the time frames and scheduling requirements of these approvals to
insure a successful project. |
